Global economy has made almost everyone panic and stressed. There is not enough sales and expenses have blown up that the number of people with empty pockets and wallets have also grown and blossomed like mushroom.

Those involved in sales, especially those who use their own car to do sales call to try to add more sales for the company they work for, are affected badly. If the sales people suffer, the company suffers also due to less sales.

Car allowance program could probably be one of the best ways to alleviate the pain of the economic meltdown’s sting. It will be a relief for the employee who should no longer worry how much to spend to do sales calls, thus, having more opportunities to make sales.

Remember, selling is a numbers game. If it takes 10 prospects to have 7 listen to your presentation to have 4 see your demonstration to have 1 sale, you need 50 prospects to get 5 sales, roughly. If you have to worry about your fuel consumption, you might just stop with 10 prospects and that will only give you and the company 1 sale. The company would also benefit from the result, besides, it is the obligation of the company to shoulder sales expenses. With the program, though, there are added benefits like liability exposure and cost savings.
