Least Cost For .COM And No-Ads Hosting
December 29, 2011$1 .COM
If you have read my previous post, you can get a .COM for next few days for just $1. Take that opportunity because it is limited. On a usual rate that can be aroun $9-12 a year.
Free Hosting (no ads)
Hosting adds to the cost because your domain is useless if you have no place to store your blog or website. There are free hosting but most of them can be used with their ads placed somewhere.
Meanwhile, why not go for a free hosting at http://aushost.org.uk? If you come to the point of maxing out your capacity, then that’s the time you go for a paid hosting. At least you have saved for the first few months or years, depending on how famous your website/blog can be. You can upload via cpanel or FTP. Most of my blogs are there. While most free hosting sites offer no customer support, Aushost does. Just don’t push it unnecessarily because it is a mere privilege, not a right.
Free Photo Storage
If you have pictures to store, host them at http://picasaweb.google.com. Better if you download Picasa so you can add watermark. That way, you do not eat up the space and bandwidth of your host provider. You just need a Gmai/Google account. If you do not have one yet, you can always register for a new one.
This is good enough for any starter who wants to go online with professional image. Even for longtime bloggers or website owners, this set can still do as long as you know your limit and know how to use it wisely.
